Precision Outlet sells test and measurement equipment. Multimeters, oscilloscopes, bench power supplies, function generators, LCR meters, thermal cameras, the bench tools that go with all of it. That is the whole job.
We started it for a pretty ordinary reason. A few of us work on electronics, and buying instruments online had turned into a gamble. You would order a meter that looked fine in the photos and get something with a different model number on the back. Or a scope that powered up once and then threw a fan fault. Worst of all were the listings that swore a unit was genuine and shipped you a reboxed clone with no paperwork and no way to get support. After enough of that you stop trusting the listing and start calling the maker directly, which is slow and annoying when you just want one instrument on your bench by Friday.
So we built the store we wanted to buy from. The catalog is on the smaller side on purpose. We focus on the categories we actually understand and use, and we would rather list one solid bench multimeter than five we cannot vouch for.
